Leverage

Leverage is selectable from 1× up to 50×, with the ceiling set on a per-asset basis—blue-chips typically allow 40–50×, mid-caps sit in the 10–20× range, and freshly-listed micros start at 3–5× until liquidity thickens. Whatever multiple you pick, Hyperliquid enforces maintenance margin at exactly one-half of the initial margin, so a 20× contract will liquidate once equity falls to 2.5% of notional.
